TEHRAN – President Hassan Rouhani is scheduled to leave Tehran for Sochi, Russia, on Thursday to attend a trilateral meeting with Russian and Turkish leaders upon the official invitation by President Vladimir Putin.

Parviz Esmaeili, the presidential office's director for communications and information, said during the Sochi meeting, the three presidents will discuss the fight against terrorism, the Syrian crisis and the Astana talks which are aim to resolve the Syrian conflict through diplomacy, ISNA reported.

The previous summit of the leaders of the three states was held in September last year in Tehran.
